Adobe Creative Suite Known Issue with DIGITAL output: Transparency problems
with InDesign trapping to text.

Digital Printing Solution:

• Outline all fonts with the "convert to outline" option.
• Copy ALL items from artboard and paste into Illustrator
• Save Illustrator file as an EPS. When saving an EPS, make sure your transparency resolution is set to LOW.
• Distill your new EPS file as a PDF. Remember to check that you have selected "print resolution" NOT the default setting "screen resolution".

Quick Solution:

• Remove gradients and/or drop shadows!
• Make sure that your images only extend up to the edges of your text and not behind the text.
• Run the job on an offset press, as this is specifically a digital output issue.
